To educate the women students to qualify in physics and highly equipped them with more skills in higher educational institutions.

To develop the students, to contribute our society through knowledge in Physics.

To provides for integrated courses in humanities and science in the educational programmes of inter-disciplinary studies.

To bridge the gap between curriculums based learning and career readiness/ employability of physics women graduates.

Program Educational Objectives:

A successful career in academia, government, industry, corporate or as an entrepreneur, or as self-employed.

Continue to learn and advance in academia to undertake higher education with focus on research and development

Communicate effectively by way presenting a brief lecture on a specific topic in physics or writing scientific reports, projects, dissertation and engage in debates and discussion

Acknowledge the importance of participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to nurture and grow leadership skills, be socially sensitive to contemporary issues and play a constructive role in the welfare of the society

Program Specific Objectives

Identify key concepts, principles and fundamental laws that are central to the study of various areas of physics, define and describe them with clarity

Demonstrate the application of physics principles, concepts and laws with necessary experimental background and assess their consequences

Explain the mathematical foundation of the underlying physics principles, concepts and laws

Formulate, discuss and analyses problems in physics identifying key concepts and principles to solve them

Plan and execute an experiment through careful observations, precise measurements, analyses, interpretation and effectively communicate the results by way of presenting a brief lecture on a science topic or writing scientific reports, projects, dissertation and engage in debates and discussions
