EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT

Understanding Human Behavior: To provide students with a foundational understanding of the principles underlying human behavior, including the biological, cognitive, emotional, social, and cultural factors that influence behavior.

Research Competence: To develop research skills that allow students to design, conduct, analyze, and interpret psychological research using appropriate methodologies and statistical techniques.

Application of Psychological Principles: To facilitate the application of psychological principles and theories to real-world settings, such as clinical practice, counseling, education, business, and social services, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and intervention strategies.
